Bluue — XRC: Retail Tech, Consumer Healthtech & Consumer Goods

Bluue is a heart monitor that can be delivered in the size of an Apple computer mouse, outside of the chest. Using AI and data science, the team has created a device that measures cardiac patterns and can diagnose a risk score for patients to pre-determine whether more invasive tests should be used or patients are at high risk for cardiac distress.

Founder

Dave Deriso is the founder of Bluue, which develops hardware and AI for preventative cardiology. Dave was a lecturer at Standford University’s Department of Computational and Mathematical Engineering, Marie Curie fellow at Oxford Neuroscience, and writer at Nature. Dave also let AI at Caviar, which sold to Square for $100M.
