XRC Labs Opens New Round of Applications

Retail technology and consumer goods startups encouraged to apply to receive significant seed investment and world-class mentorship

New York, NY – April 15, 2021 – XRC Labs, an NYC-based accelerator and venture fund focused on the retail technology and consumer goods sectors, is pleased to announce applications are open for its next accelerator program.

Participating startups receive ~$135K in investment with access to XRC Labs’s world-class partners, including TJX Companies, Inc., Mastercard, CVS Health, The Estée Lauder Companies, and GS1 US. They’re also connected to 330+ mentors from today’s most influential retailers and consultancies and given strategic support in sustainable growth strategies, further fundraising, PR and marketing, and more.

XRC Labs has invested in 70 active companies to date, from pre-seed to Series A in new materials/textiles, supply chain and warehouse technology, in store and e-commerce technology, consumer technology, physical goods, and consumer health. Additionally, 53% of portfolio companies have a female founder, and 40% have a founder of color.

In late May 2021 select applicants will be notified of XRC Labs’s interest and requested to present at a bi-annual Selection Committee in June 2021. From there, up to ten startups will be offered the opportunity to join the XRC Labs ecosystem, and each program lasts about four months.

According to the Gartner 2021 CIO Agenda, 51% of CIOs foresee an increase in supply chain speed in 2021, so this is a current investment focus for our next cohort,” says XRC Labs Principal, Kirsten Horning. “We look forward to adding founders to our ecosystem who propose products solving real problems and creating meaningful innovations.” Supply chain startups currently within the XRC Labs ecosystem include Fillogic, Gather, Loomia, Macondo Vision, and Returnity.
